It's official. Work is going to be goddamn insane until December 15. Expect frothing at the mouth, nervous tics, and caffeine overdoses. 30 Seconds to Mars' new album next week is going to be my 'halfway mark' present to myself. Until then, I need smaller benchmarks.

Survived work today, which was fucking epic. Never thought FedExing something could be so complicated. But I also got a present of beer, which totally makes up for that. (Note to self: put some in the fridge tonight.)

Based on threads with Bones and Kirk (and spending too much time on the kink meme my own undying love for new!Trek), I'm seriously tempted to write 'my OC princess chuck-bass-with-tits sleeps her way through Starfleet has wacky adventures in space.' Maybe this is the sleep deprivation talking. (Not that I didn't come home from work and fall into bed for four hours.) Someone talk me out of/into this, plz.

Also, based on two eps I've seen out of order, am now watching Southland from the beginning...or I would be if Megavideo didn't suck cocks in hell.

Naturally it's February, so I'm planning for convention in May. Cosplay-wise, I'm torn between Blair from Soul Eater (her episode 21 outfit) or Princess Kraehe from Princess Tutu. A very masochistic ambitious part of myself keeps hinting that I can do both. Help?

Work keeps going awesome, and I am up to my neck in books to read. Finished The Graveyard Book, which is pure GNeil love, and am trying to decide what to dig into next. Options include: Generation Kill, Rumors (book 2 in The Luxe series), Masquerade (book 2 in the Blue Bloods series), and Emma. One of these things is not like the others, perhaps.

I totally failed to throw my girls in the bar this weekend, but I'll shoot for EPs tomorrow night after I get back from the library (where I am going to remember the PILE next to my bed of BOOKS I BOUGHT AGES AGO AND NEED TO READ).

I seem to have hit a dry spell when it comes to new music, though. Pimp me something, y'all?

Only downside of the job is that it makes me totally fail at LJ during the week. Am contemplating a Twitter; would still not be able to post during the day, but could at least make mini entries in the evening. Thoughts?
